If you’re lucky enough to be travelling to the International Convention, don’t forget the many District 27 members who won’t be making the trip but who are interested to know what’s happening. Just send email, including pictures of our members and officers, to District27Blog@me.com. We’ll be especially anxious to hear how Terry Schutt does in the speech contests, about candidates announced for election as director next year, and about the new training program for district officers.

Toastmasters International has made a lot of news about the Convention available on the web and promises to be making updates available at Twitter and other sites. You can already find the handouts for many of the educational sessions. It’s worth pointing out that a reminder about the International Business Meeting was just posted Thursday, so there may still be time for clubs who have not yet submitted their proxies to do so.
