We offer services such as battery charging, battery installation, testing of charging and starting systems, battery watering and terminal cleaning as well as the measurement of key-off electrical drains. These services are available at our premises and a service call can be arranged off premises as well. We also repair cables and make custom cables for most applications for a variety of wire sizes. We also have invested in the proper equipment to be able to offer to our customers the reconditioning of NiCd and NiMh used in many applications. We can build custom OEM battery packs of any voltage.
We also offer technical seminars covering battery maintenance, battery testing, starting and charging systems, and voltage drops and are available to speak to consumer groups on these subjects.
We have developed pertinent handouts covering the commonly requested information by the consumer related to battery, their application, testing, etc. (See "Battery School").
For our wholesale dealer base we offer product consignment and weekly to bi-weekly service. Stock is rotated every 3-5 months so that battery freshness is maintained and spent batteries or junks are picked up and recycled at EPA approved smelters (See "Commercial Accounts").
We have been responsibly recycling batteries since our beginning in 1985. We pick up junk batteries and recycle them at EPA-approved smelters. We are an official Marion County Recycling site for disposal of all kinds of battery chemistries. We are also members of the Rechargeable Recycling Corporation (RBRC) that allows us to recycle more environmental sensitive batteries. We currently ship and recycle 80,000 to 120,000 lbs per week to EPA-approved smelters in the US and Canada. We also indemnify you, our client, if there should be an "accidental spill" requiring clean up from any of our nation's highways. This is to say, we have insurance to cover this event should it occur. In 21 years of business, we have a history of "no spills".
